Trillium Diversified utilizes cleaning systems that use high pressure and are able to use either hot or cold water. This equipment coupled with our rotating surface cleaners remove dirt, mildew, sediment and surface contamination without leaving any streaky lines that conventional pressure washer guns would leave. Our professional applicators use the safest and most efficient chemicals and cleaners on the market to produce the cleaning results you’re looking for. After your concrete has been cleaned, we are able to seal it with your choice of several industrial grade sealers from wet look acrylic to non-film forming siloxane’s. These sealers help protect against the damaging effects that are caused by weathering, deicing salts and surface contaminants.
We typically seal Stamped Concrete, Exposed aggregate, Colored concrete and Broom Finish concrete. The Acrylic solvent based sealer we use on all decorative concrete enhances the color variation of stamped concrete providing a more natural two tone hues. On exposed aggregate we are able to apply a brown tone tinted sealer. Sealed aggregate with acrylic solvent based sealer enhances the natural color of the stone mix. Natural, non color changing penetrating sealer applications on regular broom finish concrete helps to protect from the damaging effects of deicing materials and freeze thaw cycles. We are also able to apply a slip resistant additive to all acrylic solvent based applications where slip and fall incidents may be of a concern. All concrete should be sealed on an annual basis, on average once every three years.
Stamped Concrete: Dying & Re-color
If your Stamped concrete has faded, typically it only requires a good cleaning and an application of color enhancing sealer. However, in cases where maintenance has been neglected over a long period of time and the protective barrier of sealer was not maintained, it is possible for the surface to actually loose color. If this happens, in most cases Trillium Diversified is able apply a concrete dye and introduce pigment back to the surface. With our process, it is not recommended to completely change over to an entirely different color.
