Concrete Cleaning & Sealing

Broomed Finish Concrete, Colored, Stamped Concrete & Natural Stone

rillium Diversified utilizes cleaning systems that use high pressure and are able to use either hot of cold water. This equipment coupled with our rotating surface cleaners remove dirt, mildew, sediment and surface contamination without leaving any streaky lines that conventional pressure washer guns would leave. Our professional applicators use the safest and most efficient chemicals and cleaners on the market to produce the cleaning results you’re looking for. After your concrete has been cleaned, we are able to seal it with your choice of several industrial grade sealers from wet look acrylic to non-film forming siloxane’s. These sealers help protect against the damaging effects that are caused by weathering, deicing salts and surface contaminants.

Decorative concrete has opened the doors to creating pool decks, patios, walks and driveways that complement the exterior of the home, meld with the outdoor environment, and replicate exotic and traditionally expensive materials such as slate, stone or even wood. At Trillium Diversified we specialize in power washing and sealing in even the most sensitive areas such as around pools and expensive landscape. For many admirers of decorative concrete, the best attribute is that each installation is totally unique. Concrete can assume nearly any shape, design, pattern or texture. But the one characteristic that most distinguishes decorative concrete is color, whether used subtly to blend with nature or boldly to make a dramatic design statement. IT IS CRITICAL to keep the color enhanced and protected with a high grade solvent based sealer such as what Techni Seal supplies to Trillium Diversified.

Cleaning your concrete periodically with a Pressure washer or power washer and keeping it sealed with the right concrete sealers are the key components of any good maintenance program. How often you clean and reseal will largely depend on the conditions the concrete is exposed to, especially weather extremes, sunlight intensity and the amount of foot or vehicle traffic. Be sure to ask your Trillium Diversified representative to recommend cleaning and maintenance products appropriate for your pavement type and exposure conditions.

One of the biggest trends in outdoor design today is a stamped concrete pool deck, a colored, textured and inviting area surrounding the pool that does more than provide a safe, slip-resistant deck for sunbathing and barbecuing. Inground pool decks are now given nearly as much attention as the interior design of the home. Trillium is also able to add a slip resistant additive to the surface during application of the sealer if desired.

Exposing the aggregate in concrete allows you to achieve spectacular effects at a reasonable cost because few additional materials—other than the decorative aggregate—are required. The pebble-like finish is especially well-suited for pool deck surfaces because it’s highly slip resistant. For more dramatic results, you can enhance or complement the colors and textures of the decorative aggregate by using stones in contrasting colors or by combining areas of smooth and exposed aggregate finishes. Trillium Diversified has over thirteen years of experience pressure washing and sealing this material.

Frankly, unless you’re a purist and prefer concrete in its plain-gray state, there’s no reason not to enhance it with color. The number of different products for coloring concrete has never been greater, and many manufacturers offer an extensive palette of shades to choose from for colored concrete . And although you’ll pay more for colored concrete, the amazing transformation will be well worth the investment, again it is important to maintain your colored concrete with a power wash and sealer application from Trillium Diversified.

Bluestone is growing in popularity and is being used in a wide range of situations from curbing in city’s to highly polished flooring in modern homes. Bluestone is a form of Basalt which is also known as lava from a volcanic eruption. The common forms of Basalt can be porous and will stain. The most common staining agent is oil contained in most foods. Once the stone has been stained with oil, it can be very difficult to remove. For this reason Trillium Diversified will Powerwash or Pressure wash the surface and seal it with a natural finish 100% breathable siloxane based sealer.
